NCHS-Swinburne University of Technology award 2023 graduates at BMICH …

“A Better Education Makes a Better Society” – George Swinburne

The Nawaloka College of Higher Studies (NCHS) together with the Swinburne University of Technology celebrated its 2023 graduation on November 1, 2023, with a glittering awards ceremony at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH).

The event was graced by Health Minister Dr. Ramesh Pathirana, who expressed that “the pursuit of knowledge is a noble and lifelong endeavor, and your journey through the NCHS has equipped you with the tools to navigate the ever-changing global landscape.”

The gala event was attended by dignitaries, friends, family and well wishes. Dignitaries included Ms. Bronte Neyland – Pro Vice-Chancellor Future Students Swinburne University of Technology, Australia, Chairman, Dr. Jayantha Dharmadasa- Chairman Nawaloka College of Higher Studies, Dr. Alan Robertson – Dean of Studies, Nawaloka College of Higher Studies and Mr. Victor Ramanan -Deputy Chairman/ CEO Nawaloka College of Higher Studies.

The graduation saw the awarding of diplomas in Business Studies, Engineering, Health Science and Information Technology.  The graduation was followed by a graduation ball later that night.

You graduate today with deep knowledge of your disciplines, cutting-edge skills, and the distinct attributes you have gained from Swinburne that will set you apart in your fields” stated Professor Pascale G. Quester Vice-Chancellor and President Swinburne University of Technology.

“At this time, Sri Lanka needs people with your qualifications and skills. I encourage you to consider what you can contribute to your country, which offers so much potential and is seeking to build better futures for all of its citizens” advised H.E. Paul Stephens, High Commissioner of Australia to Sri Lanka.
