Amana Takaful Insurance, a fully-fledged insurance company in Sri Lanka, has been recognized as being among the top 10 companies in Sri Lanka with the best management practices, by the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka (CPM). This recognition was made official at the CPM International Management Conference, held at Cinnamon Grand, Colombo recently. Amana Takaful Insurance was presented with a special award in recognition of this achievement at the event, which was held to identify and highlight companies with the best management practices in the post-covid environment.<\/span><\/p>\n Discussing the accolade, Shehan Feisal – Chief Executive Officer at Amana Takaful General Insurance said, \u201cIt is a great honour for us to have been recognized at such an important forum. Management excellence has always been a part of our core ethos at Amana Takaful Insurance and we are grateful to have had our efforts recognized. We submitted a comprehensive report and made a compelling presentation on our business process reengineering, which has seen Amana Takaful Insurance achieve a landmark revenue growth of 33% during 2021. This achievement has drawn attention to our business from a number of awarding bodies, making us proud of what we have achieved. We take this opportunity to renew our commitment to our customers, and continue to cultivate a culture of management excellence within our organization.\u201d<\/p>\n The International Management Conference, and the associated awards programme, are conducted by the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka. The conference attempts to capture the essence of good management, examine best practitioners and investigate case examples of best practices so as to enable participants to share knowledge and experience the latest in management best practices. Participants at the conference included members of the Institute along with representatives from the corporate and public sector, universities, management institutes and business schools, from Sri Lanka and abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n
