We are therefore proud to partner with FITIS and serve as Gold Partner for Sri Lanka Internet Day 2022,\u201d Microsoft Country Manager Sri Lanka and Maldives Harsha Randeny stated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hosted under the theme: \u2018Digital Lifestyle: Lifeline to overcome turmoil\u2019, this will be the second consecutive year that the event will be taking place, providing Sri Lankans from all walks of life with an opportunity to engage with local and global industry experts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWe warmly welcome Microsoft Sri Lanka\u2019s partnership with FITIS. Their support adds weight to our shared belief that all stakeholders in the Sri Lankan economy \u2013 from the state sector to large corporates, SMEs, start-ups and entrepreneurs \u2013 all need to find ways of leveraging the internet to their advantage.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWith Sri Lanka Internet Day, we aim to connect these communities to international players, in order to encourage tech and knowledge transfer, and strengthen Sri Lanka\u2019s competitive position as a global player in internet-driven innovation,\u201d Channa de Silva, President of the FITIS Digital Services Chapter and Co-Chair of Internet Day 2022 stated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This year\u2019s theme \u201cDigital Lifestyle\u201d was chosen by the organisers, in order to showcase citizen engagement in a digital society; how the internet and digitisation can positively impact everyday life by merging with information technology.
