In a dazzling display of fashion and vision, Vision Care, Sri Lanka’s largest vision and eyewear solutions provider, celebrated a decade of partnership as the “Official Eyewear Partner” at Colombo Fashion Week’s Luxury Resortwear Edition. The two-day extravaganza, held at the National Art Gallery and Shangri-La Hotel, witnessed Vision Care’s world-class eyewear brands seamlessly integrated into the creations of esteemed designers, including Amilani Perers, Asanka De Mel (LOVI), Karma Collection, Hameedia, Charini Suriyage, Kamil Hewavitharana and Dinushi Pamunuwa.

During the event, designers showcased their mastery by incorporating renowned global eyewear brands by Vision Care, such as D&G, Versace, Bvlgari, Prada, Ray Ban, and Vogue, adding a touch of luxury and sophistication to their resortwear collections. In addition to these brands, Vision Care offers customers a diverse array of leading international brands for frames and sunglasses, including Emporio Armani, Michael Kors, Polaroid, Carrera, Coach, Oakley, Gucci, Porsche, and many more. These sought-after brands are available at Vision Care branches across the island and online at shop.visioncare.lk.

This year’s Luxury Resortwear Edition placed a special emphasis on craftsmanship, occasionwear, and sophisticated resortwear, aligning with a renewed focus on circularity systems in fashion. The event also marked the relaunch of the Fashion Design Council of Sri Lanka (FDCL), an initiative aimed at providing key support to the Sri Lankan fashion industry and designer fraternity.

Our top eyewear brands have seamlessly adorned the creations of talented designers in the Luxury Resortwear edition, marking another significant milestone in our ongoing journey. The perfect blend of fashion and vision has been our focus, and as we continue this partnership, we’re delighted to witness the transformative impact of eyewear on the evolving landscape of luxury resort fashion”.
