Pubs’ N Places honoured by LMD among Sri Lanka’s top brands..

Pubs’ N Places, the brand owner of the popular “Machang” pubs brand, announced that the company has been chosen as Sri Lanka’s number one’ Pubs and Bars’ chain for customer excellence in Sri Lanka for 2023 in an independent online survey conducted by LMD, Sri Lanka’s most reputed business magazine.

 

Started in 2009, the ‘Machang’ brand underwent an overhaul last year to make the chain more conducive and attractive to females, young adults and the GEN Z’s of Sri Lanka who want to relax and unwind in a safe, secure, comfortable environment. Today, the chain has 22 outlets across Sri Lanka, and it strives to be the best local pub and bar chain in Sri Lanka.

 

Commenting on the recognition, Pubs’ N Places Vice President Sashi Mohotti said, “We are thrilled to be recognised by the LMD Magazine as Sri Lanka’s number one pubs and bars chain. Since its inception, our narrative and direction were to be known as the local neighborhood pub. We strive to treat all our patrons as Guests, not as mere customers. The ambience at a Machang pub, the value proposition offered in its menu, and the entertainment provided make it attractive and affordable to a wider customer base. It is also committed to, and works on many sustainable measures. From collecting plastic bottles and aluminium cans for recycling and gradually moving away from plastic use are major developments driven by Machang in this sphere. The tree planting campaign earlier this year and the gradual move to paper straws and glass bottles are further testaments to their sustainable efforts.

 

Machang also works and deals with major suppliers reputed in the market to source most of their ingredients in both food and beverage categories to ensure high quality and consistent delivery of customer expectations.
