Hutchison Telecommunications Lanka (Private) Limited (“Hutch”), and its infrastructure partner Edotco Services Lanka (Private) Limited (“Edotco”) launched the very first advertising LED Panel in Edotco’s smart lamp pole network.
Edotco has close to 700 such smart lamp poles in the country in various key strategic locations, and this LED Advertisement is the very first commercial advertisement for the Edotco Group.
The said advertisement panel is situated in the Colombo 03 (Colpetty), Station area. The Chief Executive of Edotco Group, Mohamed Adlan Ahmad Tajudin, Chief People Officer of Edotco Group, Ramon Chelva, Director, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Edotco Group, Azzahraa Annuar and Head Corporate Communications & Branding, Edotco Group, Noreen Sabrina Mohd. Noor were also present to witness this occasion.
With the launch of this innovative product, the Chief Executive Officer of Hutch, Thirukumar Nadarasa said “We are thrilled to introduce Sri Lanka’s first ever lamp pole tower advertising panel in partnership with Edotco. This pioneering collaboration is an extension of our partnership with Edotco as a tower infrastructure partner to an innovative eco-friendly advertising media partner as well.”
The Country Managing Director of Edotco, Gayan Koralage said, “Edotco Sri Lanka’s mission is to shape connectivity in the country. In this journey, we are pleased to have pioneered multipurpose smart lamp poles which are equipped with streetlights as well as provision for surveillance and advertisements. We are now witnessing another first, by unveiling the very first advertising LED panel for the Edotco Group.”
