World’s Largest Pizza Chain Domino’s Announces 5,000 free meals to be donated for the Kids of Child Action Lanka…

Domino’s Pizza Sri Lanka has further cemented its position as the country’s fastest-growing chain of quick service restaurants, living up to Domino’s Pizza’s global reputation as the world’s largest pizza brand. This month, the brand is joyously commemorating the monumental milestone of becoming the fastest QSR to reach 50 stores across Sri Lanka, with the opening of its newest store in Panadura.

To celebrate this momentous occasion and further highlight its commitment towards Sri Lanka, Domino’s Pizza is taking the opportunity to give back to the communities that have supported its success.  In a heart-warming gesture, Domino’s Sri Lanka, the leading pizza chain in the country, is donating 5,000 meals to Child Action Lanka (CAL) as part of their commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of underprivileged children. This donation comes as part of the company’s ongoing efforts to give back to the community and spread joy during the joyous occasion. Recognizing the love children have for pizza, Domino’s has chosen to sponsor meals for kids at CAL’s Colombo Centre. An official Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed during a special event on the 3rd of August, between Domino’s Pizza and CAL.

Debbie Edirisinghe – Founder and Director of CAL, expressed her gratitude saying, “It is very encouraging to receive such generous support from Domino’s Pizza Sri Lanka. These meals will help to provide a ray of hope for the children under our care.”

Child Action Lanka is a dedicated charity organization with a mission to secure a brighter future for vulnerable children, by ensuring that their essential needs are met. Recognizing that children are key to breaking the viscous cycle of poverty, CAL plays a vital role in realizing the vision of a prosperous future for all.

Sameer Khetarpal, MD & CEO of Jubilant FoodWorks Limited, the master franchise for Domino’s in Sri Lanka, India and Bangladesh, on the momentous occasion of opening of Domino’s 50th stores remarked, “We’re thrilled to be celebrating the milestone of our 50th store in Sri Lanka, and we believe in giving back to the communities that have embraced us with open arms. Through our partnership with Child Action Lanka, we hope to make a positive impact on the lives of children and contribute to their wellbeing.”
