The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco) has decided to reduce its petroleum prices with effect from 10 pm Sunday, July 17, 2022.
Accordingly, the price of a liter of Lanka Petrol 92 octane has been reduced by 20 rupees and its new price is 450 rupees. The price of Lanka Petrol 95 Octane Euro 04 has been reduced by 10 rupees and its new price is 540 rupees.
The price of a liter of Lanka white diesel has also been reduced by 20 rupees. Accordingly, its new price is 440 rupees. The price of Lanka Super Diesel Four Star Euro 04 has been reduced by 10 rupees and its new price is 510 rupees per liter.
Ceylon Petroleum Statutory Corporation says that a formal program has been prepared to continuously issue Lanka Petrol Octane 92 and Lanka White Diesel to the consumers from the 21st July 2022.
Therefore, Ceylon Petroleum Corporation requests people not to congregate near petrol stations and avoid queuing up vehicles on both sides of the road.
