Three major awards at South Asian Business Excellence Awards recognizes Sri Lanka’s leading healthcare education provider as an industry trailblazer
Surado Campus of Business Management, a leading, privately-led vocational training institution for local and foreign employment in Sri Lanka, was recently honored as South Asia’s best vocational education institute at the coveted South Asian Business Excellence Awards 2022. The awards ceremony, held in Dhaka on 22 September, bestowed Surado Campus with three accolades−‘Best Vocational Institute’, ‘Best education institute in Healthcare’and ‘Best Women Leadership Excellence Award in Education Sector’−for pioneering a new model of higher education for Sri Lankan students. The awards were received by DisaniAdihetti, Director – Surado Campus, ErangaThennakoon – Branch Manager and Gerald Fernando, Head of Marketing at Surado Campus.
Celebrating the best of South Asia, South Asian Business Excellence Awards 2022 honored organizations of all types and sizes, and the people behind their success, from private to public, for profit to nonprofit. The awards acknowledge and reward the exceptional work and the results gained by the trailblazers of the corporate domain, in the face of an ever-increasing competitive market. Beating some of the biggest brands in the region, Surado Campus was conferred with the prestigious awards under the Education and Learning Development category for proving its mettle through adaptation, innovation, and perspiration in challenging times.
Surado Campus has been winning multiple awards since 2019, starting with the coveted NirmanaAbinandhana Award at the Sharamabimana Awards Ceremony for Surado’s unique employment-centered education programs. In 2020, the organisation won two important awards— Asia’s Best Vocational Training Institute and Exceptional Women of Excellence awards—at the Asia Awards 2020 presented by RULA Awards.
