Joint forum by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA & CIMA) and The Association of International Marketing Graduates (AIMG)

The Association of International Marketing Graduates (AIMG) together with the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA & CIMA) will be hosting a joint forum under the theme “Finance for Marketers” on Thursday, 19th August 2023 from 6 pm onwards at Jetwing Colombo 7.

It will be an interesting thought-provoking session with a panel of experts. The programme will highlight the role of finance in marketing and how does finance and marketing work together for the sustainability of any organization and the challenges the marketers face and how finance will help them turn the impossible around.

The keynote speakers of the programme are Venkkat Ramanan, FCMA (UK), CGMA, Regional Vice President – Asia Pacific, AICPA & CIMA, and Channa Gunawardana, FCMA (UK), CGMA, Chief Executive Officer, Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC, Royal Fernwood Porcelain Ltd. The panelists of the programme are Nirodha Ambanpola, ACMA (UK), CGMA, Head of Sales and Marketing at r-pac Sri Lanka and Manindri Bandaranayake, FCMA (UK), CGMA, Group Chief Brand Marketing Officer Janashakthi Group. Chathushka De Alwis, ACMA (UK), CGMA, Associate Manager Professional Relationships & Thought Leadership AICPA & CIMA Sri Lanka will be the moderator for the programme.

AICPA & CIMA have partnered with AIMG to bring about initiatives, which will certainly add value to the finance sector and to the marketing environment. This joint forum will bring together business leaders, accounting and finance professionals and corporate executives. This will be a platform for the participants to gain knowledge and share valuable insights.
