Marking a significant milestone in Sri Lanka’s automotive industry, DIMO is proud to introduce the first ever small commercial vehicle assembled in Sri Lanka. Produced at the DIMO Vehicle Assembly Plant at the Weliweriya Logistics Center with a daily production capacity of 3 to 4 vehicles, the first batch of locally assembled DIMO Batta HT2 vehicles was handed over to a group of customers recently.

The proven product of which over 100,000 vehicles are already enhancing the day to day lives of many Sri Lankans, the DIMO Batta HT2 is the only commercial vehicle that has a fuel economy of 18 to 22km per litre in its class, allowing maximum savings and higher returns for the owners. It also has a very low maintenance cost compared to the similar products of competitors and comes with a regular service interval of every 10,000km, saving time and cost for the customer. With a large drop side load body with the dimensions of 7.2’ in length, 5’ in width and 1’ in height, the vehicle features a stylishly designed and comfortable cabin that seats two persons including the driver. Additionally, it comes with elegantly stylish head lamps and digital odometers for enhanced accuracy and most importantly, a trusted warranty of 2 years or 60,000km.
